Considering cutting off toxic family. Anyone been there?

I've always had a strained relationship with my parents, but lately, it's gotten unbearable. They're constantly criticizing my life choices, trying to control me, and bringing negativity into my life.

I'm seriously considering going low or no contact, but I'm terrified of the fallout. Has anyone actually cut off toxic family members? How did you do it?

They raised you, they fed you, you must be everything what they have, you leaving would cause immense pain and grief for them suddenly and for you later on 🚶
