If on bench and want to connect with certain people might go as high as leadership to ask for roles in certain interested fields like data science or ML what to do? and also is this a good option to ping high level peoples in Accenture ?

That's certainly a bad idea, I was once part of a project with MD recommendation and my manager made my life hell. It's always better to have good relations with leads and managers. If you try to go close to MD it will irritate leads and managers in that project.
