Trending @Cognizant; Confusion regarding 2.5 days/week
Hi everyone, can anyone please tell how system takes and average of 2.5 days/week and what is the minimum timing to be in office per day.
How it is taking and what if someone is going office 4-5 days in a week and due to any reason, 1 week of month is left with 0-1 days.. Then is it fine for RTO index or not?
Please share how it is actually working and how someone can be on a safer side for upcoming quarter promotion.

I connected with an HR for the same doubt.
They still didn't get the criteria for this. I asked how many hours of RTO should I maintain for 2.5 days/week. He said there's no such hours criteria. You just need to show up 2.5 days/week. But I'm not sure if he is aware of the criteria.
What I think is - 1 day RTO = 9 hours So for 2.5 days/week, 2.5 days = 22.5 hours we need to maintain

What if someone is working remotely? And have 0-1 day work model?

No I don't think it's about hours
It's about this much days you have to go to office,
For example - This is for 2/3 days per week.
So suppose 5 days in a week and you went 2 days in that week and in a month 4 weeks are there so total 20days office and we have to go 8 days and you went 8 days. So if you divide 20÷8= 2.5 Days.
Like this it get counted.

It's not 2.5 days per week
It's that the avg number of days to attend the office per month
I.e if the month have 4weeks
And you have attended 10days in the month
Then it's 2.5days/week

Really are u sure. Bcz it's saying weekly reporting may be..

You have to maintain total swipe in hours max 23 hrs in a week. You can do it whatever way you want, it may be 2 day or three day. I got mail for 0-1 day. So some time I do whf also. But as a ODC/ account level we are following above, so I also try to follow.

Max or Min 23 hrs?

Work from office for 3 days in a week and maintain minimum 4 hrs when you are in office. Be consistent.
total 33 days for 3 months that too 3 days per week has to be there as per the criteria given.
this totally varies since HR itself has no clarity on this. as per the criteria mentioned its 2.5days average in last 3 months, but some how they are communicating 2.5days per week for last 3 months in case of PA to A promotion.

for hours, atleast 6hrs is mandatory as i heard from my project odc coordinator.
