Confused with career
Hi Guys, Currently I'm working as mainframe developer in TCS since 2021 this is my first company project wise the work was simple and not that complicated Right now when I tried attending interviews for other companies I realised that there are many things which I haven't used in my day to day work as mainframe developer I'm really confused I'm a person with average coding skills not that excellent each passing interview makes me feel dumb and pissed feeling of missing opportunity there is no much learning in my current project what should I do

Am in a similar situation as a java backend springboot Developer. Attend half a dozen interviews and got to know there is more to learn. Took a break a couple of months, learnt the things asked and started giving interviews again!
Don't worry, just upskill and confidently attend interviews. You may fail a few but you will get experience and an understanding of what's being asked. That will help in landing a good offer! All the best!

First time switching is always difficult.just upskill
