Confused to Resign or Stay
Hi All,
I am stuck in a project that does not align with my skills and I am Not interested to continue that role further. However, my manager is not ready to release me and I feel stuck. I am confused that wether I should resign without an offer or study and prepare and then drop my papers.But due to the workload in the project im unable to focus on studies Unsure wether the market is okay right now and what should I do. Please guide.

Ambitious and wanna work in your domain: Resign and jump asap. Staying somewhere too long in a role you aren't satisfied with will be a moral killer and making you obsolete.
About the market, is it turbulent and bad. Yes but only for those not truly adequately skilled. If you are having the skills necessary the markets are always good. My Team Member recently jumped to Infy with 120% hike cause she had a relevant skill set that was on demand.
If only during Good times are you getting offers then its a sign you need to upskill. If during Bad time you are getting offers you are on the right track and just keep showing up. Its that straightforward.
Organisation will do their best to enslave you. Its ones own responsibility to cultivate and hone their skills forge their path. So God speed ahead and go for what you want.
