Trending @Accenture; Confused Freshie

I have joined accenture in sept 2023 , completed my training till end of december 2023. Since then i am on bench, i have received no calls and those people are saying that you are on extended eltp. Means those people who have completed training but not yet assigned to bench. My peers in other companies are getting ahead of me, and day by day this thing is worsening my mental health. I feel that I deserve more than sitting idle on some xyz company bench. While I have also heard that the job market is bad and it would be hard to get hired from outside. Kindly suggest me something.

I can relate to your situation. I also understand your urge to work in project and gain some hands on experience and get to know how the stuff actually works.

My suggestion would be to be on the bench learn some shit, do certifications as they are free and switch.

Your hike, variable and promotion is decided by the Accenture team not the project. Given your CL is 12 you'll get variable at the fullest anyway irrelevant of u being in a project. Your default promotion would be after 2 years.

Many of the gv posts suggested that project and work culture is basically toxic, shitty management, appraisals are only for bootlickers.

Also there's a person who claims to be in leadership level posted that work life balance in service based company is at the mercy of client. https://share.gvine.app/eR8ee2Ff5oUZyYL28

Switch to PBC and goodluck!

I have seen many people say do certifications they're free but I don't know where to do certifications from? Also can you suggest some must learn skills?
