Confused About Health Insurance for My Mother

Hello, I am 24 years old and my mother is 51. Right now, I am planning to switch from my current company to another. I noticed that not every company’s corporate insurance plan covers parents, and this made me think about whether I should buy separate health insurance for my mother. I am a little confused about what points I need to consider before making a decision.

I am not sure if it will be better to take a group health plan, an individual health plan only for my mother, or to depend only on corporate insurance. My mother has high blood pressure but no other health problems at the moment. I want to make a good financial decision that gives her proper health coverage and also does not become a heavy cost for me.

I need advice on which option would be best for her and also practical for me in the long run. Should I rely on corporate insurance alone or should I purchase a separate health policy for her security?

Would parents be included in almost all plans from corporate.

If required you can also top up to increase the cap for individuals ( I know this about icici insurance)
