Confused - please give advice and opinions
I am fresher with these two offers - But I'm very confused. In these two offers. AI Engineer ~6 lpa wfh @us company. Software Engineer ~4 lpa office @ Indian service based company.
Now I'm confused about these two and also a lot of doubts 😵💫
- Which will be a better option in the long run?
- Is a software engineer better than AI engineer?
- Experience vs Role which matters the most?
- Can I shift to different roles?
- which is best in the long run?
- where is the higher salary?
depends on that US company’s name. But in general, if you are confident about that company, that it is a product based company and it won’t get shut down in next 1-2 yrs, go for it.
Don’t look at the salary aspect. Look at the organisation brand, authenticity, and the quality of tech work you will get to do there. Most Indian service based MNCs (TCS etc), have very limited learning and comes with the sole benefit of onsite opportunities after 2-3 yrs time. Compared to Indian service based companies, product based companies provide far better learning opportunities.
So it is all about the organisation and the work you will get to do there. I can tell more if you can DM me more specifics.
