Confused v

I have 6 yrs of exp, and my current company is paying only 40k, where I'm in a senior level role.

Going from big 4 to start up right now would work ? Or to wait for this year.

My manager feels I'm from a rich flit family so I would definitely not need money, that's why I'm in IT. He is unnecessarily insecure and acts like one narc.

Please suggest do I have to switch or stay in the current company due to job market situation..
