Trending @Accenture; Conflicted about Switching

Hi All,

I'm a CL12 in Accenture Strategy & Consulting. 1 YOE (this is my first job, joined last year). Current pay is 12L (fixed) + variable component

I have an offer of 18L (fixed) + ESOPs from an e-commerce startup in a Strategy & Ops role.

I'm not sure if I should switch or have Accenture match it. I plan to do an MBA 2-3 years later. I understand that Accenture has better brand value from a foreign MBA perspective, as opposed to an Indian startup.

If anyone took a similar path, could you let me know how this switch would be perceived by B schools abroad?

stick with Accenture. brand value matters more for MBA. startups come and go.

Does the diversity of projects also matter? Due to the FF that I'm aligned to, there isn't a lot of variance in terms of type of work/clients.

Stay and get a promotion. Then switch

I'm not sure how long that would take. Back when Accenture was doing well, the avg. time for Associate to Analyst was 1.5 years in S&C. However, I know Associates who haven't been promoted for 3.5 years.
