Hi all, I have received an offer from Cognizant with a joining date in February, and I have resigned from TCS on Nov end. However, I am exploring other opportunities as the offered hike is only 50%. Cognizant is requesting my UAN details, BGV information, and pre-joining documents.
Could you please clarify the implications of sharing my UAN details? I am concerned that it may lead to the creation of a new PF account. If I were to receive another offer and decline Cognizant's offer, would the created PF account cause any disruptions in future background checks?

You'll have to share these details to complete BGV I think. But until you join them they can't create PF account for you. So don't worry about that. If you're still doubtful, share other details until they come back and ask you specifically for UAN.
