Concern about switching to IT

I am released from my current project 1st november onwards. I want to know if i move to IT. Will my payroll change as per IT or it will remain the same?

They will only get the IT work done by you. They want to use the IT skill for a lesser expense. They wont change the payroll.

Very Very few have got the conversion done. But that takes a long time.
