Concern About Night Shift WFH and Allowance Impact

I have two shifts for my project. Recently, due to new contractual policies, the timings changed. Earlier, B shift was 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM and C shift was 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM. Now, B shift is 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM and C shift is 9:30 PM – 7:00 AM.

After the change, I don’t need to go to the office for B shift, but for C shift (night), I’m still expected to. I’m the only woman on the project, so HR suggested I switch to WFH only during night shifts for safety.

They mentioned this might affect my night shift allowance, and I’m really worried. Will switching to WFH for night shifts impact my allowance?
