My location got changes from pune to kolkata from backend and there was no involvement of my people manager. I got the access of the location as well. But as ecms mail was not initiated, laptop submission was not done in pune and i am in kolkata location .. so could anyone please tell me.. is it mandatory to submit the laptop? . If yes then in how to do that and then how to raise a ticket for getting a new asset..
Yes, it's usually mandatory to submit the laptop. Raise a ticket in Service Central for guidance. Contact your manager or ESCM SPOC for more details on the process.
Can i raise a ticket in service central for submission in kolkata location and will say my colleague to raise a ticket for me for asset allocation after submitting it?
And one thing i wanna know how many days will it take after submitting the laptop and getting back new asset?
Hi the same thing happened for me as well just now. I am also confused what to do can you tell that did you got the access to new location office as new location is reflecting in my profile now??
What I am doing is that I did not received the mail from ECMS, once I had asked my people manager he told no laptop is not needed to surrender. So I am not submitting laptop, as I am i a project and it will be difficult to do configurations and setup again.
Will it be correct to do? As one of my colleague also did relocation before me but she had got mail from the ECMS team instantly.
I got the access for the id card just by writing a mail to the security team. I have already joined the new location.. for me just laptop.surrender and allocation is required
