Compliance Sector review

How's compliance with PnL handling as an Industry to work for a PM? Is it too niche? Is it growing?

Do it well (bare minimum to comply, while giving enough flexibility to growth) as a product person, and see yourself grow.
I’ve seen very very few masters of this field.

My view has always been that one should be at the center of profitability rather than costs. Compliance is a cost center which doesn't contribute anything to the org & most orgs are trying to automate majority of compliance related tasks. You can ofcourse take a call
