Hey Guys,

What the hell is this compliance thing? Let's suppose I'm not following 10 hours a day, 3 days a week to be in the office approach, what impact would it bring on? I'm going to the office for around 3 hours a day, 3 days a week. Not getting any HR email but HM says my swipe in hours is not good. Though, I'm working for 12 hours in a day as I'm working even after reaching home. Will it impact my salary? Will it impact my annual rating? Impact my appraisal or they'll ask me to leave? What exactly will happen here? I joined CTS a few months ago, I don't intend to stay here for longer so I'm fine if that impacts my rating. Btw, what is the average monthly swipe in hours? Appreciate your advice here. Thanks!

Why are you working 12 hours a day? You're expecting what?

Got bills to pay, house to run, pay kid's school fees and feed the government with direct and indirect taxes :) So, there was a new member who joined our team for a while, he raised concern on working hours to his HM which happened to be my HM too. He literally said this on call, "There are no working hours in IT domain/service based industries. If you want to work in a fixed hour shift, this job is not for you. Period!!"

It's because we made them fat enough to reply like this. There's no unity, everyone's thinking if they work extra hours they'll get some extra benefit.

I think they are checking monthly avg tru time in the office.

I think according to them it should be more than 4-4.5 hours

2-3 days per week means your avg monthly Trutime in the office should be more than 4-4.5 hours. This is what I think

It may impact your appraisal.

That's fine. I'm already looking for another job.

Use top up for the extra hours and get it approved, if they have reasons not to approve ask them the reason why you should work from home after office hours

Yes, it has impacted my work life balance. I can't spend time with my kid. It's torture seriously.
