Completely shattered

My 17 year old best friend passed away today. I knew it from a while that this was coming but one can never be prepared for this. She was the goodest girl. She taught me to love dogs and ever since I adopted her I have always had a soft spot for stray animals. She passed away back in my hometown but it is due to her that every month I dedicate some part of my monthly salary to feed the stray dogs of my society. Rest in peace buddy. I will always love you. I don’t think I will ever be ready for another pet but I will make sure that I do everything that is in my capacity for any stray animal that I come across.
