Trending @Infosys; Completed all the pip goals except 3 days work from office
After returning rom ml they pip me on pip . Now they made 3 days work from office and asking me to follow company rules inspire of u telling them I cannot work for 3 days since I have small baby to look after . Have asked permission for atleast one or 2 day in a week but they are not agreeing . Any suggestions
Many are using excuses like small baby, daily chores etc to transfer work load to male employees. Why xant they ask their hisbands to take care of the kids in stead of burdening the team members with over work?
What do you think was happening before 2020 for new mothers? Just forget that WFH ever existed, look at your options and make your decision. Infosys or any other company is running a business. If you want to take care of your baby; 1. call your parents or in-laws 2. Quit job and take care 3. Send baby to day care 4. Adjust with your husband for alternate days
You should escalate this issue to senior HR, explaining your situation clearly. If that doesn't work, consider your long-term options, including looking for a more flexible job.
