I received my compensation revision letter on December 3rd, effective October 1st. Subsequently, on December 17th, I received my promotion and progression letter for the move from JL4 to JL5, which is also effective October 1st. I noticed that both letters mention revised compensation calculated based on my previous salary. I would like to clarify the following: Will the hike percentages mentioned in both letters be combined, or will only one revision apply? If only one applies, which revision will be considered final—the annual compensation revision or the promotion-related revision?

I haven't heard if compensation revision for this year had been rolled out yet.

I’ve seen this situation before, and usually the higher percentage is taken into account. Given that both are effective from the same date, I believe that will apply here too.
