Compensation letter released for D band

I'm really disappointed by the current appraisal situation at TCS. Despite not having released the revised compensation letter for the upcoming FY, they seem very keen on reducing salaries. Last week, they released the revised compensation letter for those who received the D band. One of my close friends got a mammoth 10% reduction in his CTC, reduced to what it was two years ago.

It is frustrating to see the delay in releasing the compensation request letter for other bands while being quick and efficient in reducing salaries. Really makes me raise eyebrows on the core values of the org.
