Compensation check

One of my Ex-Colleagues received an offer of 44.5 LPA (38.5 fixed and 6 variable) for sr. Manager/executive manager as a program manager in enabling areas of Deloitte USI. Please suggest if he should accept or ask for any other number based on the Deloitte payscales.
