Company Retention

What all things to be taken care of if company tries to retain you. Do we have to share the offer letter with them? What if everything is verbal and they do not agree in written? Promotion, hike , onsite , etc...

Don't take the retention offer. Once you resign you should not look back. Take the new offer letter and move on

just in case the hike is merely 15% from other organisation and company tries to retain me with the same offer :(
