How do you think cognizant is doing?. All I see is people are resigning by their own or people on bench are asked to leave. Not sure if it's just Cognizant in general situation is bad over all. Also, heard many projects leaving cognizant or down sizing. Doesn't anyone has any positive news which they can share like some new projects or anything new and interesting happening here. Have joined as a lateral hire 2 years back, but things are not as positive as when I joined.
I also joined Cts 2 yrs back. In addition to poor business and not getting contracts. Cognizant's Tru time..sit in 10 hour office policy is something which I feel are not employee friendly policies..I have worked in 3 organizations and I have nowhere seen noting down punch in/out time. In wfh we didn't see but now all bad policies are clearly visible.
I worked in 3 organization. 2 MnC and one indian. Things were great before new CEO, but now things moving bad to worse.
We are yet to see peanuts in appraisals. That will be final nail in coffin.
Hmm Brian was great actually. This new CEO is directionless. His policies derived from infy are typical gadha majdoori model. Threatening people to terminate for RTO, bench, disciplinary actions. I have seen people queueing up in front of HR office for forced resignations. They are in ultra bad situation.
Yes true, cts loosing too many clients and firing non billable as well as billable employees.
