Companies making you question your ethics?
I have an upcoming interview with a US based social media platform, I had just glanced about what they did until I sat down to prepare
The site opened to a kind woman exercising in lingerie I have all respect for fitness and the lingerie business, but this made me question if I want to be associated with such a business
This product would definitely be making money I am sure (also they agreed to my high salary ask)
The documents about the company say they are very serious in building the company, Q1 Q2 data etc
But is it worth going for it?

it depends on what business they are involved in. If it is a lingerie/clothing business, i would say that advt is expected. If it is tech company making anti virus software. I would be concerned.
We have ice-creams in India, which have Bollywood bimbos eating it sensually. Am guessing its normal in the advt world.

If you're not comfortable with doing it, i would suggest skipping it. If you don't like it a few months into the job, it will make things more difficult for you if you decide to quit because finding another job will be a pain most likely.
At the end of the day many if not most medium to large online companies are doing some or the other shady shit here and there for various reasons. Sometimes it blows up, sometimes it doesn't. Tik tok was hugely popular in India until govt straight up banned it. Various risks exist in each market and product. Upto you to decide where to invest your time and energy.
If pays good, then definitely do it. Remember you aren't forcing others to buy. Ciggerate companies say smoking is injurious.. it's brainless retail wo still falls for it
Long term goals Enthu…if you see yourself getting another job after this stint easily tho go for it. Doesn’t matter. It won’t be your last job.
Is the role challenging and have learning opportunities? If yes then go for it.
Focus on where you want to be, these are just stepping stones.
Unless its gambling or casino related work, u can go ahead, although you are older than me but it was my opinion. Don't stress much if you're getting a good pay. Hope it helps!
