Companies low balling

How'd you guys deal with recruiters low balling on the ECTC ?

I am currently underpaid and when speak of it they respond by giving some 'industry standard' sh*t.

Even with the ctc's they quote I'll still be underpaid and it'll just be a vicious cycle.

Appreciate any suggestions
