Companies in North

Why can’t we have more companies in north. Why its heavily skewed towards southern region. The overflux of people has obviously affected the cities and local people here. Also as a north Indian after a certain age we want to live near our hometown and not explore the country. Why the companies and govt are ok to bring people from north to south, better have offices in north too

A technical ecosystem is not established in one day it took years, simple answer is Bangalore evolved with times faster than others - read about wodeyar contribution in opening IISC and even IIT BHU, it was first city to be electrified and IT policy in 1992 compared to others so they just capitalized it well and are thriving despite all infra issues and many other plethora of issues

Due to this the people who migrated there for work had a level of sophistication because unless you are employed there why else would anyone go, right? Hence, it became a huge ecosystem and the culture itself resonates that unlike Gurgaon and Pune where things seemed like we are fitting it in forcefully!

Other areas picked up late and are thriving slowly whether its Pune Gurgaon Hyderabad but then their pace cannot be compared because its like saying why Virat Kohli is not as great as Tendulkar? Both are at their own special levels

Yet the fact that amazon shifted a big chunk from its largest office in Hyderabad recently to airport area of Bangalore tells a lot!
