I am getting released from my previous project on June 5th. I saw here on the sub that there might be layoffs for people, especially ones in the bench. What should I do to get into a project asap?

I’m also on bench from 15th may. Nothing we can do.. Accenture doesn’t have any projects as of now. Most are short term or getting shelved off.

Is the layoff rumor true? It will affect people who have been in bench for a long time only right, even if it is true?
