Cold emailing for jobs — would this help you?
I’m working on a lightweight tool for job seekers who are tired of sending applications into black holes.
Here’s how it works:
You log in with your Google account
Upload your resume
Paste a list of company emails (like hiring managers, engineers, recruiters)
The tool uses GPT to write personalized cold emails for each one
It sends them from your Gmail, and even auto-follow-ups if no one replies
You get a simple dashboard to track who opened/replied
This is for people who want to take outreach into their own hands but don’t want to write 20 emails a day.
Would you find this useful? What’s the #1 thing that would stop you from using it?
Open to all feedback — trying to validate if this is something people would pay for.
One interview, 1000+ job opportunities
Take a 10-min AI interview to qualify for numerous real jobs auto-matched to your profile 🔑
I too thought of the same idea, but it's a self destructive option!
Cold email is useful or valued as there is a personal touch to it, the person emailing is putting additional efforts to get the job and that's what's counted...
Once the app is in market and people start using it, the inboxes will get flooded, manual touch will get missed out and unnecessary profiles irrelevant to job opening or domain will appear in the hiring managers inboxes..
At a personal level for individual use case its a best one.. but in market its not worth it
