Cognizant has officially announced that salary hikes will be rolled out for ~80% of eligible employees, effective November 1, 2025 — after a 3-month delay from the usual cycle. • Applicable for roles up to and including Senior Associate. • Hike % will vary by performance rating and region. • In India, high performers can expect raises in the high single-digit range, with top performers at the upper end.
This move follows similar steps by other IT majors and aims to reward performance despite industry headwinds.

It means its for PAT, PA, A and SA levels. No update on M, SM or higher levels.

Mass resignations are bound to follow. Delaying salary hikes is no different from taking back the hard-earned money of employees, and that’s simply unfair. Karma has its way—imagine the impact if 2.5 lakh people collectively curse the leadership; such negativity will inevitably come back to haunt them.

This is a just bunch of gober together, let me explain
- Upto SA is not 80%, they might be 60% ....maximum. in that cohort around 20-30% would not be eligible for hike (pertaining to may be college hires or not on roll on eligible date
- So the today number of eligible would be maximum say 40-45% of total headcount
- There is no difference in the kind of work do eligible by SA and M ..... have seen many SA leasing engagements and many M are in very execution works
- Middle mgmt say M, SM, AD .... who company had been pivoting more and more for additi9nal things like business development, capability building, running CoEs, hiring etc..... will not get anything this year. As current declaration says effective from 1st November..... means will be communicated around third week of Novemebr ..... no one will have time to give any a Consideration after that ....so 2025 is gone.
- D+ , they might get hike but their numbers are never published and way more than any. D- .....
And so called leaders wonder why they are bleeding talent.
