Cognizant relieving letter

After I left Cognizant I was waiting for my letter because it was necessary to start working for my next job. As I soon learned that the process may take weeks and I thought it would arrive right after my last day of employment. There may be a delay in the Cognizant relieving letter because it needs final rights and papers approval and all sorts of things. I followed up with HR to speed up. you should also do the same. To prevent any delays in getting the letter, stay in contact with HR and carefully complete the leaving checklist, and make sure all payments are made.

I got my Cognizant relieving letter a few days after my last working day. Many of my co-workers have received the relieving letter within 2 days of the last working day. If you want to get the relieving letter early, you need to have a word with your manager.

As much I know it takes 15 working days to get the letter, after you complete all the needed formalities. you need to submit all the needed documents on the final day and also followed up on the clearances to make the whole process faster. Never hesitate to call them if you think the process is dragging. Sometimes just a follow up is all it takes to expedite a process!
