
Cognizant Hiring Process — Need Some Clarity
Need some guidance from the community.
I attended a Cognizant walk-in drive on Jan 31st and cleared the discussions. I received CDF-1 and completed it, but did not receive CDF-2 afterward. Since there was no update, I reached out to the HR who invited me for the walk-in, and she asked me to share my documents again, which I submitted.
Later I was informed there were budget constraints. I mentioned that I’m okay to proceed within the discussed budget range as well. However, after that I haven’t received any response despite following up.
Has anyone experienced something similar with Cognizant hiring processes? Is this usually due to internal approvals/role hold situations, or should I assume the position is closed and move on?
Would really appreciate any insights. Thanks in advance.
