Cognizant has become a pathetic workplace. No good hikes and Hikes are getting delayed for consecutive years.
Pathetic company. Monitoring hours, installing productivity tools, insulting because hours are less and all sorts of crap is going on here. It would be justified at least if they gave good hikes and promotions. Even that's not there
Leave the company as soon as possible. If you don't get job start your own small business and be happy.
Gone are the days you would get standard hikes, with AI adoption, and competitive ideas by other upcoming startups, big league companies are losing customers. They state to be profitable for their shareholders and if they need to reduce cost, batch of employees go. Since its a IT service, they dont do much layoffs and give away additional amt which are hikes. But to pay too many employees, this is given smaller. Ideally hikes are single digits but on higher side...but given how things are laid out in the market, AI and so on, expect negligible hikes going forward
