Trending @Cognizant; Cognizant Hike Percentage Comparison

I have done a thorough Analysis of the salary of a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant. Joined in September 2022 with 6.75 LPA as a fresher, Got one merit increment in April 2023 and CTC increased to 7.34LPA with 4 Rating. He worked hard again for FY 2024 and got 5 Rating but now He only got 4.38 % hike effectively. What is the difference between a mediocre employee and extra ordinary Employees??? It's just a 1-2 percent difference percent hike despite performing well, They are giving peanuts as salary hike.

Complete comparison Table of salary of PA having 5 rating.

Their strategy is clever. Anticipating mass resignations after the appraisal, they are proactively hiring freshers in bulk at a relatively low salary of 2.5 lakh per annum.

TBH, those who didn't perform are happy because eventually they end up saying that what's the difference between getting top and bottom rating. Basically their low rating and others high rating hasn't created any impact between their salary structure. So basically the winner is losing and the losers are winning. They should've kept a good margin between top raters and bottom raters to atleast create an impression that despite market turbulence, organisations take care of top performers.

You are right but still I think everyone here is in the loosing boat.

I agree to disagree on this. Let's be practical. How many people immediately left their job, how many took leave on Friday as it was trending here to show solidarity with each other and teach cognizant a lesson. But what happened, nothing. A good person tries to trend hashtags on twitter to raise their voices against our stupid CEO. But what happened, nothing. Reality is, those who are feeling bad by raising their voices are the ones who are impacted most because their hardwork was not appreciated. As per my understanding, the dissatisfaction is not for the masses but for the people who worked with their heart out to get the promise rating so that they can reap the benefits. Tell me, someone having 1,2,3 rating, how are they impacted?
