I have been gifted coffee beans as a gift. They seem to be good ones apparently- Blue Tokoi. However, i have tried different combinations and i still seem to like my regular davidoff or nescafe. Is it the case with everyone and is making coffee from beans really not that appetising? I do own a french press and nespresso pods.

I only get certain roasts of blue tokai or whichever nice roaster so that I can drink it black. If it's with milk I don't really care.
So it all depends on preference. Don't let anyone tell you there's a way to do it. Make what you like and enjoy it.
If you prefer black, try a few options and see. French press is fine but may be more bitter (?) due to no filter. Something like a pourover or aeropress could be an option.

Fellow grapes (?) what your favorite coffee beans and how do you like to brew them? (medium roast arabica, moka pot).
Seems to be a PE round, so we should be seeing a lot more Third Waves in a lot more cities :)
