Co-workers assigns tickets assigns me work without asking to manager

My co worker is picking up multiple tickets and then assigning me work without keeping manager in loop. We are on same level.

What can I do to stop this? I have subtly hinted that I am occupied.

It's sprint end today. He is asking me to pick his tasks because I have delivered all the stories.
