Co Pay policy in tcs

I am entitled to gold plus health insurance at tcs. It allows me to avail 75k for normal delivery maternity expenses. However tcs is playing diplomatically with all employees by introducing the co pay system. As per this policy, an employee has to pay 10% (higher or lower as per your plan) of total payable. In my case though i am entitled to 75k but i can avail only 67500 (90% of total entitled amount and 7500 i have to pay from my pocket as 10% copay)

I would advise tcs to be honest and say they provide 67500 for maternity expenses instead of 75000. Health insurance is much better in other companies....

Try getting maternity cover in your regular insurance and understand the waiting periods.

10% copay is a reasonable expectation for employee to be mindful of the expenditure. Most employees don't care about the costs as they don't pay for it, leading to unnecessary bloating.

TCS leave policy

What is the leave policy in TCS? How many leaves do employees get in a year? And how many leaves can they encash at the end of the year? Do TCS employees get Indian holidays, or does it depend on the project they are working on?
