Client-facing Business Analyst with 3 YoE - how do I make the switch to sales?
I've been told by my friends that I'm extremely good at communicating and by my managers that my client-facing skills are the strongest at my company. Would like to translate that skill into money.
I'm a business analyst (PMO) with 3 years of experience. Can you please provide me with guidance on how to make the switch? I'm looking at remote jobs with a base of 6 LPA (not including comissions).
You've already got the hardest part nailed, client trust and communication. Sales just needs that packaged right. Focus on roles like Sales Enablement, Solution Consulting, or SDR in SaaS; great transitions from BA. You can consider taking mentorship with an expert from the industry who’s actually made this switch and cracked remote roles. On Hiked.in, you can connect 1:1 with mentors. One mentorship call might be all it takes to land that 6+ LPA sales gig.
