Cleared TCS Sponsored m. tech programme entrance assessment but not getting released

Hey Grapevine Community, I'm in a really tough spot and could use some guidance from seniors. I've been shortlisted for an SME interview for an M.Tech in Automotive Electronics, sponsored by TCS. This is a fantastic opportunity, but my current supervisor is not allowing me to get the necessary release join the programme. Has anyone faced a similar situation? How did you navigate it? Any advice on how to approach this with my supervisor or HR would be greatly appreciated. This is a crucial step for my career growth, and I'm feeling quite stuck.
