Cleared Interviewat EY GDS, negotiation done but no offer letter

Hello Everyone,

I have given interview at EY GDS for Sr. Consultant role. I have 5 years of relevant experience and 1 year freelancing(not relevant to role). I have done Engineeting and MBA (Finance and Operations).

I have completed 2 Online technical round and 1 face to face technical round. After clearing all, I got mail from HR that you have cleared all the rounds and digital onboarding start. I filled the CIS on EY portal and submitted all necessary documents to the HR( Aadhar card, payslips, cis etc).

HR called me done negotiation. My current fixed ctc is 14.5 and I asked for 28 fix, to which she denied. I go down little bit and on 26 Fix she quickly agrees and told me for this i can get approval.

The reason I asked for this hike is because i have my appraisal pending and if I am taking 10%, it would be around 16 fix. On top of that I have my promotion pending, if i am taking this as 30%, it would be around 20.5 LPA fix. On 20.5 LPA , if I am asking 26 LPA i.e. around 27% hike.

HR didn't responded for 2 weeks, then I drop the mail and i got call , she told me it didn't approved. I ask for their budget , she didn't disclose that also and told me the standard policy is 40% hike. To which she told me if yo agree i will get apptoval for it, else we need to drop you. I told her please drop my name because I can't go below this and told her to drop email for the same.

Till now she is not discussed any thing on mail and neither she had sent me mail that we are dropping you. Digital onboarding is still visible to me.

This clearly means they didn't dropped me yet.

Should I wait more, or should i go for different organization?

Also what is standard hike policy in EY?

Any leads would be appreciable.
