people are missing the point. This is not about OP's affordability. It is about being charged more money even after being given a hefty discount. I don't think she would have a problem paying 680 if the price of biryani was 700 and after discount it became 680. Normally after discount the price reduces.

people are justifying that RS 100 charge for delivery since it is interstate. But are missing the point that this same biryani would not cost more than 250-300 bucks in Bangalore. So zomato is first inflating the cost of biryani( by accounting for delivery charges here itself) and then charge a much reduced delivery charge. Typical psychology. If biryani was 300 and delivery charge was 380 people would be much less willing to buy since itna jyada delivery charge dena is a mental hurdle and RS 100 seems okay for interstate.
Also OP, next time don't order from this intercity legends. I also tried it. 2 din baad aata hai and same quality nahi rehti. Much better to find a good place in old Delhi which will give u freshly made biryani

By someone who wrote actual code for this interstate deliveries The 100/- that is charged to you for delivery is used to take care of the packaging of product, using an temperature controlled container to procure these items from restaurants, 1st mile pickup, middle mile transport which is usually through airlines, transport from airport to within the city and lastly a person is assigned to deliver you the product to your doorstep. I think, if you want Bengaluru Meghna biriyani (or any other Zlegends dish) while being in Delhi.. then the total price will definitely increase.
But anyways, yes classic zomato🙃
