How is the scope for Oracle database administrator? How much will they get for 2 YOE if they switch now??

So I started my career with this tech stack, in my opinion it was dull, stagnant, very less vibrant and very decent scope. Although there are openings for Oracle DBA but the scope of work is limited which makes the payscale limited as well. I worked for 2 years on this and my career went backwards due to this.

Afterwards I switched to cloud and now I am a full time cloud consultant. The above is just based on my experience, others opinion might differ.

You mean it's better to switch to other domain or technology rather than continuing in this?

For me, I switched into other technology because I didn't foresee a rewarding career with this stack.

Try to switch to a broader spectrum. Sticking to a admin jobs will result in saturation. Just think from this perspective - are you still learning new things related to your field or u are just are doing routine work.

If only routine work and learning scope is limited. Switch ...
