Clarification on Work Location Post-Resignation

I submitted my resignation at TCS last week. Do I still need to go to the office every day, or can I work from home? Note: TCS hasn’t provided me a dedicated seat at my location — I’m currently sitting in a general ODC.

So it totally depends on your project, manager, and his or her managers.

In my account my project people who put down papers dont go to office and barely work but then our manager is a gem of a human and so are her superiors due to which so far exit has been smooth. Even our HR is pretty cool so they all go along and helped any member leaving.

However, for our sister project its been a nightmare. There have been threats issued and alot of clashes to sort out NP, WFO, and Leaves. Its a total shit show. One colleague I know of lost a bit during his FNF citing non compliance to policies. Only thing he can think of is taking leave and not going to office is what he said. But then again he didnt fight too much he just let it be citing let it be considered his charity work 🤣. Plus he got a really good offer so he didnt care much.

My personal opinion, why risk it just comply and chill out at office download shows and catch up on them at office.

How to know whether my project is a good one or it falls under the 2nd one?

Ideally you should be going. Even if you don't go there won't be any difference
