Clarification on Resume Title vs Official Designation for BGV
I had a quick question regarding background verification. My resume mentions the title Senior Technical Analyst to reflect the kind of responsibilities I handled, but my official designation (as per salary slips and experience letter) is Senior Technician – Technical Support.
I’ve already submitted my documents and received the offer letter. Will this kind of title mismatch create any issue during BGV? Should I inform HR in advance or wait to see if it’s flagged?

so will they create any issue
Usually after accepting the offer and during BGV, no companies will withdraw the offer unless it's a serious concern like dual PF entries (moonlighting) and no employment proof for one of your previous organisation or some PF entry without last working day(means you left without proper notice).
Sometimes other factors like criminal cases against the candidate also matter of concern.
