Trending @Accenture; Clarification on Notice Period While on Bench

I am currently on bench (Day 2) and had a query regarding the resignation process. If I choose to resign while on bench, will I still be expected to serve the full 90-day notice period?

I do not want an early release — my preference is to serve the entire notice period so I can utilize the time to upskill myself. However, I wanted to confirm if there’s any chance the organization might release me early due to lack of project dependency, even if I haven’t requested it.

It would be helpful to understand the standard approach in such scenarios, especially when the individual resigning is not currently assigned to any project.
