Clarification on health insurance deduction

I noticed that ₹5,568 has been deducted from my salary this time under health insurance. However, the MediBuddy policy coverage and benefits appear to be the same as last year.

Could someone please clarify why this year’s deduction is higher and if there are any changes in policy terms, coverage, or duration?

@OurInsurance32 I have the same question but for me HIS deduction is ₹5,658/-. Besides, it’s been only few months that I have joined and I have not taken any add-on benefits for myself and dependent parents. Not sure if this is usual?

How much was deducted for you last year?

Revision happen in every April

Premiums are increased. Not only TCS but in general all the health insurance companies have increased the Premiums.

The HIS deduction has to be within the limits or equivalent to what has been mentioned in the offer letter, right?!
