Trending @Infosys; Clarification on General hike and Promotion hike
Hello everyone, can anyone give clarity on the hike. As per latest information we will get hike letters by March month until job level 5 people.
I recently got a promotion and confirmation letter I will receive by this month end. Now shall I get a general hike along with a promotion hike?
Million dollar question. What happens you will get two letters but both hikes will consider the base salary as your current salary and you will get higher of the two. Whether they follow the same this tine I don’t know. This usually happens when general hike and promotion hike is in same quarter. HR has sent the standard hike % based in company, unit performance , rating and base salary to the DMs, The DMs have done their adjustments based available overall budget and sent back to HR. So now just waiting for final tweaks and letters. The bad thing is that company now knows we have got a hike form government so hopefully they don’t reduce what we were supposed to get.
Yup that’s my under standing based on a case I saw some years back. Let’s hope they don’t follow same and you get double hikes !! People moving from 5-6 have a chance. They will get promotion hike this quarter and jl6 annual hike next quarter. Not sure if they will put another clause like you need to be in c role by x tine
