Trending @Cognizant; Clarification on Default Promotion from PA to Associate after 3 Years

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding promotions at Cognizant. I joined on 26th October 2021, and my promotion from Programmer Analyst (PA) to Associate has been deferred four times now. I was originally supposed to be promoted in January 2024, but it didn’t happen, and I’m still awaiting confirmation. I’ll be completing three years with Cognizant on 26th October 2024, and I’ve heard that if you remain in the PA role for two years, you automatically get promoted to Associate. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, when would the promotion be effective—would it be in November, or would it be part of the Q1 2025 cycle since promotions from PA to Associate are done on a quarterly basis? Any insights would be appreciated!
