Anyone preparing for civil services?is it a good idea to have a backup after 2 attempts and is it good to take a break from a upsc for one year?

I prepared for 2 years (2 attempts) but after my first attempt, I started working on my backup. And I didn't bother to give 2nd attempt because I got a very high-paying job in an American Startup and now I am working with the MIT founders and visiting America and other vacation locations once a year. And I realized I was preparing for UPSC as I had no clue what I want to do in life 🤣
