CITI doing Micromanagement???

Hello Everyone, I work in Citi account from last almost 3 years. Yesterday I got a call from my lead that I am not completing 8 hrs of work or not active for 8 hours. He said that in CITI, they are tracking our activities through vedios🙄. And if you are a developer you have to spend minimum 6 hours in STS/Eclipse/VS Code or whatever the editor you use. All browsing activities will be considered as personal work😒 (what if I am doing testing in the browser🤷‍♂️ ). Plus all activities in Teams and Outlook will be considered as admin work. Isn't it too much micromanagement? Has anyone else got such information from their peoject? I feel my lead is lying. Anyone working in Citi project?
