Today just 1 hour back, I ordered a chicken cheese sandwich. Simple man. Simple dreams. Another girl also ordered the same thing.
Waited patiently for 15 minutes. Sandwich was taking longer than my last appraisal meeting. The girl was getting visibly restless. I thought, "Relax girl, no one's snatching your sandwich." Oh, how naive I was.
Finally, the moment arrived, two chicken cheese sandwiches landed on the counter. I got the notification: "Your order is served." She sprinted past me like it was the Olympics. And then... plot twist.
Out of nowhere, a dude in a red T-shirt swoops in like he's in Mission Impossible, grabs a sandwich "MY SANDWICH" and vanishes like he owed someone money.
For a second, I just stood there. Processing. Confused. Hurt. Betrayed. Hungry. My phone coldly confirmed: "Order Delivered."😵💫
The sandwich guy, seeing my shattered soul, made me another one. God bless him.
To the guy in the red T-shirt with specs who stole my sandwich: I hope the cheese was cold and the chicken was dry. Also, if you saw someone in a red SHIRT today that's me, not a red T-SHIRT guy. Don't confuse me with sandwich thief.😂
Moral of the story: Accenture, please give thoda bohot hikes. People are out here stealing sandwiches to survive.😭😭
